Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!
The box from my Dad arrived today with my Black Friday orders from 52 teas, American Tea Room, Red Leaf Tea, Butiki, Harney & Sons, and a bunch of holiday teas from Celestial Seasonings. I also got a sample of Bolder Breakfast from the Tea Spot.
In addition, he also threw in a perfect teaspoon, Harry Potter stamps, The Tea Enthusiasts Handbook, and the Season 3 Limited Edition of the Walking Dead that I bought for my brother.
I am in tea heaven!!

My cupboard just exploded from 177 to 212 teas. Between the box and my trip to Nina’s Paris yesterday, my tea boredom is officially cured!!
Got my Davids Tea Boxer sale with teawear. I tried to take off brewing basket of my new Timolino, but couldn’t:( Maybe its just too cold.
Finally got my swap from Kat that’s been lurking in the mail for about two and a half weeks. Unfortunately I think it got run over by a truck because the tea is all smashed up inside (and it looks like it has a tire track on it). Oo
I need to go see if there’s anything salvageable of it still though.
Received a great holiday card from gracebtlb Looks like the mail system is starting to clear out their backlog from weather issues :)
I received some tea. I totally forget who it was from though. I also opened 5 packages from the giant pile (I am a hoarder for boxes okay? Don’t judge) and they were all tea related so that’s almost like I got them today, right? 52teas, Bluebird, Serendipitea.
My Cadeau Deco Vendome order full of Dammann teas arrived today, and I was thankfully home to sign for it thanks to the bitter cold. Makes me appreciate our postman, who has to be out on this horrible day!
I’m at home this morning – and watched a delivery notification card come flying through my mail slot. No knock, no attempted delivery, so popped my head into the hallway and asked him for my box. “Oh you’re at home?” – Yeah it’s my place, I’m allowed to be here?!?. He didn’t even have the box with him, I made him go back down to the truck to get it.
So with a little persistence, I got my epic, BF, shared orders, OMG this box is huge, package from MissB. Thank you so much for organizing that extravaganza.
This is a pretty big box, I’m a little afraid to open it.
Yay! It’s so lucky that you were standing right there. I’m happy you got your huge tea package, but OMG, just reading about their lack of delivery just makes me frustrated.
I’ve had the same thing happen a few times, although one guy will ring the bell no matter what right at 9am, even though I’ve asked him (and signed a form) for them to just leave any packages at my door. I’m so glad you were there to grab it!
Have fun with the package; I have a feeling it may take you the day to get through it all. ;) It is amazing though! Hopefully I tin foiled the S&V stuff enough. Let me know if I missed anything!
When I first moved in here, they were just leaving boxes outside my door. Not sure why that changed – I’m not afraid that my neighbors would take my packages. It’s just frustrating when you are at home and still get delivery card notifications. I’m working this evening, and then tomorrow morning – so I wouldn’t have been able to pick this up until after work tomorrow. Glad I was right there to catch him.
I’m excited, and little afraid – but positive it’s going to be amazing.
You have to post a picture of those Adagio tins, Dexter! I left them alone, however even the packaging was just gorgeous.
Honestly I didn’t even look at them. I opened the box, got over whelmed, pulled out some of the “baggies”, was enjoying sniffing a few things, but didn’t make it all the way into the box before I had to go to work. Tomorrow I need to sort it all out, and find tins/jar/home for everything.
Finally got my order from David’sTea after waiting since last Sunday (which is oddly long for them to get something to me! But we had an awful storm.) that I’ve awaited trying since about last June: 250g of Cookie Dough! I wasn’t expecting 250g to look like so much, holy crap. However, it doesn’t disappoint. ;)
Ask what I got today. Common, ask, I know you wanna know.

Now, she would have to explain to us EXACTLY what she meant when she wrote that MY package was putting HERS to shame…donno, don’t understand. Just saying.

(plus you added a significantly amount of future sipdowns to my already too full cupboard, but that’s another story!)
And guess what? I’m gonna spend all evening entering them cause we all know my cupboard is up to date now, don’t we?
