Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!
I was super excited to come home and find my swap from Courtney had arrived!! She sent me some samples from Tealish and surprised me with some Butiki teas which I have been wanting to try FOREVER!! Now I finally get to see what all the fuss is about!!
Package day! I got my Lupicia order as well as my Fauchon teas from the Vente-Privee sale. And a few other non-tea related packages as well, haha.
Jealous you got your Vente-Privee order already! I’ve been eyeing the tracking number hoping it’ll come soon but it looks like I’ll be waiting until Tuesday. :’( Enjoy!
Some of my parcels from China finally got released by customs! They left China on the 1 and 4th respectively.

I got another Rizhao black from Tokai Verdant ( I have to open it to see if it is what I am expecting, last time I got it sent directly from the tea factory and they sent me a higher grade which was nice)

The seller sent me about 50g of samples, a Rizhao green, several teas from Tan Yang and it looks like a dian hong nice.

I got them on sale ( like close to 65% of what the current prices are and what was nice is they were in 50g lots)
I also got another Tan Yang and a sample of Moli Hua Cha from http://www.aliexpress.com/store/320842
Just curious… How long did it take others to get their free samples from Teavivre? It has been about 4 weeks since they responded to my request for samples. They said the samples would go into the mail within a few days. Does it usually take this long? I’m not trying to be pushy. I’ll wait forever for free tea! I’m just wondering if it could’ve gotten lost in the mail… I’m really excited to try my first pu-erh and milk oolong!
They ship from China, I think. So it can take a little longer. So far, I’ve tried one of the oolongs and one pu-erh. And both were really good.
Not sure how long it takes in the states as I am Canadian. It usually takes about a month! It’s worth it though!
It’s kind of a crap shoot. I’ve had tea samples from Teavivre make it to me (in the eastern US) in 2 weeks, and it’s taken close to 6 weeks before. Vagueries of the postal service and customs, I guess.
I received a package of Capital Tea Ltd black tea’s from Dexter3657. I have a busy weekend of tea sipping ahead of me.

I got a card saying my next tea delivery is at the mail sorting office which eeopens at 08:00 on Monday!
Got my Red Leaf Tea order with my Matchacinno.
Unfortunately I was overcharged on my bill. Sent an email to the company so I’m hoping it’ll be corrected quickly.
