This might be controversial, but Indulgence Cookies & Cream Tea from Tetley is seriously delicious. I know it’s a low quality, cheap bagged tea. But it is really good as a latte.

I also typically pick up some pomegranate rooibos and Canadian breakfast or maple black tea from Murchie’s and Bourbon Vanilla Rooibos from Denman Island Tea Co. DITC sells at craft fairs and it’s become a bit of a tradition for me to buy 100 or 250g looseleaf which will last me the year (rooibos is light).

I’m heavily considering Cardamom French Toast and Alpine Punch from David’s Tea, but I’m pretty well stocked on holiday blends from Bird & Blend from last year (when I bought both the tea and the matcha advents), plus I still have a lot of old teas that need drinking.

Do you local store carry the Tetley? I never see anything like that around here. We have British Blend and Decaf British Blend and that’s it.

I have been thinking about Celestial Seasoning’s vanilla honey chamomile tea lately, so no judgement from me!
I bought White Christmas from Lupicia. I think that is all the holiday tea I got this year, aside from an advent. David’s CFT is a solid choice.

I was recently reminded how much I love Simpson & Vail’s St. Nick’s blend and they have quite a few other great Christmas teas…

I bought my usual ones from Lupicia – Carol, decaf Carol, White Christmas, and Jingle Bells.

My local shop, Fava Tea Company, has a whole range of “Reindeer Blends” they sell only during the holiday season. Prancer’s Perfect Lemon Custard is my personal favorite, but most of the ones I’ve tried are quite delicious!

I’ve always wanted to order from Fava, ever since trying their Holiday Pumpkin Pie 11 years ago (!). You’ve reminded me of them and now I may finally email them to ask if they ship to Canada. :)

I received a generous gift certificate to Harney and Sons from work.

I’m not a big flavored tea fan, but I’m also not a fan of most of their unflavored teas, so I decided to go wild and order sachets of a bunch of their flavored teas to share with the office. And a few of them fall under a winter holiday theme.

White Christmas
Williamsburg Ginger Cake

and some adjacent
Salted Caramel
Hot Cinnamon Spice
Hallowe’en Party – the flavor profile fits even if the name is a different season. :)

Now I just wish they’d ship my order because there are a couple I’m actually excited to try.

I just tried to buy a box of Christmas in Paris in a grocery order from Sobey’s, but apparently none of the three Stash Christmas teas are in stock. A quick Google search shows no availability at other major grocery stores either. I feel unreasonably disappointed. Does anyone know where I can get one or two decent holiday teas in Toronto? I don’t want to make a huge tea order, but I have major advent calendar envy. :)

I know I saw Christmas in Paris the other day here (AB). I could always pick some up for you if I see it again, but unsure how best to ship your way atm. :)

I picked up a box of Celestial seasoning Gingerbread spice, and it’s half gone already! I’ll be on the lookout for this again, especially if it’s on clearance after the holidays. :)

Courtney, thanks for the offer, and I might take you up on it if the strike ends soon. Using other carriers would cost more than the tea! Did you find it at a Sobey’s or somewhere else?

If I recall correctly it was at Community (a ‘natural’ grocery here). Do let me know and I’m happy to hunt some down for you! :)

We definitely don’t have Community here. I’m going to see if the Shoppers Drug Mart near me carries any holiday teas. There’s also a health food store whose website says they have some Stash Christmas teas in stock, though the Sobey’s website also said they had those teas and they didn’t.

If Canada Post starts delivering mail again, you could always send me a couple teabags in an envelope for a lot less than you could send a box. I’d be happy to send you something as well!
