I’m almost certainly biased since I work for DAVIDsTEA, but if you’re into straight rooibos I would strongly recommend their Wild Grown Rooibos. I haven’t personally ever come across anything similar, and it has such a lovely natural hazelnut note.
Thank you! I will definitely try that out. It sounds very interesting, and it’ll be fun to find out what relationship DavidsTEA has with the producers of this tisane.
I love DAVIDsTEA too! This is one of my favorite teas!!
Red Espresso Rooibos. This is a unique rooibos tea that’s brewed in an espresso machine. I first had it in latte form at a coffee shop in LA and it’s one of the best tea-based drinks I’ve ever had. The taste is something like a cross between light roast coffee and Thai iced tea. Very different than a normal rooibos tea.
I dislike red rooibos but tried a sachet from Fortnum and Mason and kind of liked it. So I bought the much more accessible tin from Harney and Sons, and really, really didn’t. But if you like red rooibos you might like Harney’s. I only like green rooibos.
