Question - have you heard of Everything Eshop?
Hello Everyone -
This isn’t spam! :) I apologize if I didn’t put this in the right category, I was unsure of where to post it.
I received a contact form from someone from “Everything Eshop” asking me to start including my products in their marketplace. This is the first I’ve heard of this marketplace – so I’m curious – how many of you have heard of this marketplace & more pointedly, have any of you shopped there?
I have never heard of it… but I’m not known for knowing about internet things. :D
Thank you to those that replied. They contacted me, asking me to join their marketplace – but I don’t think that my business is one that would work within a marketplace since most of my blends are temporary – but if they are a business that’s getting a lot of traffic, then maybe it would be worthwhile to include my permanent collection there but if people haven’t even heard of it, I don’t think it will expand my customer base.
I haven’t heard of it, but I’m not up to date on Internet things either. It sounds like they’re trying to expand their business.
Yes, I think so. I am just not in the position to really help them do that – especially since the tea they wanted was the Alfajores tea and I have fewer than 10 pouches of that tea and it’s not something I’ll keep in stock – the only teas that would make sense for me to keep on that website are the D’s Teas – and I foresee it as a thing that can become an inventory issue if I attempted to maintain a marketplace as well as my website.
I would understand if it is Etsy or company like that. This is weird for me. I never heard of them, but something fishy for me.
Nope. Me neither.
IMHO, caution is advised. There’s been a lot of hacking going on in social media.
May or may not be related.
Hmm. Never heard of it either. It could possibly be a back-end software used for your products but just a quick Google search shows just what the definition is and how any company that sells online uses them. I’d be very careful.
On a separate note. I steeped MArshmallow Trear Genmaicha in oat milk last night and then warmed it up as a latte right now with froth. It’s fantastic.
I do the majority of my shopping online these days and have never heard of them. The site’s navigation makes it hard to find what kind of products are offered. When I searched for “tea” the result was a bunch of supplements and on the third page it included anal bleach with vitamin C (something I never expected to type into Steepster). Skipped to the 5th page of results and I see jerseys, bikinis, testosterone and bondage toys. Their search function is all over the place! Their headquarters in San Francisco is a shabby looking Hotel on Turk street when you look on google street view. It keeps getting flimsier the more I look at it!
Make sure to wipe your cache so that weird things dont start popping up in your ads and such _
Thank you. I won’t be putting my items online. I did respond to his email and told him that I didn’t think that we’d be a good fit for his platform. Thanks to everyone for your input, it’s been invaluable!
