Favorite tea companies

I have to admit that I purchase pretty much exclusively from DAVIDsTEA. I tend to have more hits than misses with them, whereas I didn’t quite enjoy my purchases from Adagio or Teavana. Teavana is no longer an option for me, in Canada, anyway.

I’m a total sucker for Whispering Pines. This is where I learned of the beauty that a single pure unflavored unblended tea can be. I don’t know if life would be worth living without Golden Snail or Premium Taiwanese Assam. Its these two I give to people when they say they don’t like tea because it is too bitter or dries out their mouths.

I just got nabbed by a promotional email to try out an unsmoked Lapsang Souchong.

Its also where I discovered that its not jasmine teas I dislike, but green teas. I still have a bit of a Black Jasmine that I am holding on to until spring is in full bloom. Pity there’s none in stock at the moment. Also a pity that its sitting in a drawer at work and I am at home for another month with a broken right ankle.
