Steepster Migration
Question for the admins – are updates/upgrades still being made to the site or is all of that completed and the focus is now on maintenance?
We have ideas on improving the website, and were hoping to implement some of them before the holidays but getting the site stable and responsive took much longer that we expected. We are planning on moving forward after Christmas.
Is there a way to view all tasting notes on the Dashboard? Currently, I can only see posts from people I’m subscribed to and I like checking out notes from new users as well. If I want to pull up everyone’s tasting notes, I have to go to https://steepster.com/recent/all?page=1. Would be nice to have a link to this on the Dashboard.
That would be interesting having a link or a drop-down list to choose if we want to see everyone or just subscribed people :)

Is there a way to merge tea pages? I’ve found two pages for what appears to be the same tea, but each has multiple reviews so I don’t think deleting the duplicate would work in this case. I’m sure there are others, but this is the one I found just now.

Then when it appeared nothing was ever going to happen about it, I stopped wasting my time reporting them…
Unfortunately, the current system does not allow the merging of duplicates. We will add it to our internal list of features to look into.
I’m not getting e-mail notifications for comments on my tasting note that I just posted today. And really haven’t seen any e-mail notifications in a while on anything.
Pushed out an update for tackling spam accounts. Reboot took a bit longer than usual. Should all be operational shortly.
Is this related to the issues with tea pages throwing 500 errors and there being two entries for every tea in search results?
