Teacup Makeover
I did not have luck with this, as the Sharpie washed right off. :(
I did however, have a friend who has had good luck with the paints/markers geared for painting on ceramics. We sold those at a craft store that I used to work at. You can either bake them in the oven, or leave them to cure for just under a month. I plan to re-do my mug with those.
That’s strange, there were a few comments on the first blog I found with idea on it too, though. Maybe it depends on the specific material the mug is made of?
You wouldn’t, by any chance, know a site that has those or a brand name would you?
Very cool! My friend made “thank you” gifts by writing and doodling on teapots and mailing them out. So far everyone’s has stayed except for the teapot she gave to her grandfather. But he takes a very strange joy out of scrubbing the holy hell out of porcelain.
