Mine came in day before yesterday! Good timing. That morning I was diagnosed with a (benign, but still scary) brain tumour. Then I went to a final exam, and my mind just wasn’t there, and I definitely bombed it. Got home feeling pretty crappy about myself, and the tea box was there!
I tore into that sucker and made a cup of the first tea. It was fantastic. I won’t spoil the surprise and I’m saving the rest of them, but tearing into that box early helped cheer me up.
The first tea is good, everyone. Real good.
I have been opening one every other day since the December 1st. I’m trying to make the fun last longer haha. Loving it so far :)
It’s almost the official start day! My mom sent me the first 7 since last year I missed out on doing it properly, and it has been sooooo difficult to not open the first one up already.
FYI, starting tomorrow, I will be posting reblends of each of the 12 teas, one each day. So if you enjoy the sample you got in your sampler, you can order a full pouch of it while supplies last. Merry Christmas!
Haha, we’ve actually only made it about 6-7 teas in, and I know there are some people who are going to be awfully excited for those reblends ;)
Yeah. I am resisting the temptation to put them all up on the website immediately so folks can get some of them in time for Christmas, but… spoilers… =(
I forgot about that. I just opened the first day because I am a horrible person who can’t wait, and even though I still have plenty of that pouch left, I WANT MORE. And I’m sure more of the next 11 days. Wahhh.
Ahaha momo, that’s one I missed out on, and I was seriously considering it, but…. do I really need it… I’ve tried it a couple times….
Hey I was wondering when the individuals might go on sale? I love the first tea and wouldn’t want to miss out on getting 2 oz of it :-)
SO GLAD I came to this thread and saw this comment; I just tried tea #2 (I’m behind already!) and was like DA BOMB and I missed it the first time.
I know I am getting mine as a christmas gift, and I plan on doing it after xmas so that I can keep the tea magic going into the new year (as now I am doing Davids 24 days of tea). So if there are any superfantastic blends (ok who are we kidding, I’m sure they are all amazing, but I have a limited budget) please let me know so I can maybe make my first official 52 teas purchase <3
