Tea names that will make you laugh
I did a brief search through the discussions for “tea names”, “funny tea names”, “best tea names”, etc. but didn’t find any threads that listed tea [blend] names that nerdy tea drinkers like me would get a kick out of. So, forgive me if I’m repeating a thread here, but I thought it might be fun to start listing funny tea names.
I’ll start… Came across a tea blend called “Lemongrass Jazzman”. Why did I find this so laugh out loud funny?? I have no idea…
The Tea Store in Ottawa has some cute names
“John Lemmon”
“Shake your Boo-tea”
“Vampire Voodoo”
“Crypt Keeper’s Delight”
I can’t think of any names off the top of my head, but I love the idea of this thread. Thanks for creating it! I am a huge word nerd, so I’m very likely to try/order a blend just because I like the name.
David’sTea has a TON of punny names. Some highlights include: Kiwi’s Big Adventure, Bamboozled, Dulce & Banana.
My local tea shop has a tea called “Tell ’em Raspberry Sencha”. Teehee.
This place has Bohemian Raspberry, haha. http://www.nmteaco.com/Green_c_7-2-13.html
I knew this would be a good idea! Already laughing. I think “Tell ’em Raspberry Sencha” has the lead.
I didn’t like it at all. The florals really just don’t come through and I really liked their Rose tea. Perhaps I should add some rose hips? Who knows. All I know is I have really liked most of darlene’s teas but don’t care for that one one bit. And I’m a big fan of chais. Even nontraditional chais. Adagio’s thai chai is superb. Can’t like em all.
oh. while on (okay i’m off topic) topic of darlene’s.. they really need to step up their packaging. The purple bags their tea comes in are just terrible.
Best funny tea name: Duck shit oolong
(I know there’s someone on here who recently bought it)
Worst:
“CP aaah…”
Gives zero clue as to what’s in this tea. Might as well call it xyz because it could be anything.
Thief Poop Oolong from Tea Habitat

Honorable mentions
- Yezi Tea’s “I can’t believe it’s not scotch”
- Oriental Beauty oolongs… I know, I know… it’s kind of considered to be a classic Taiwanese tea at this point, but the name is just ridiculous…
