REQUEST FOR RECOMMENDATIONS: Black tea with coconut

I’m mourning the demise of my AQTT’s coconut tea from last year and I need something that’s just as good to replace it and I can’t seem to find anything that suits my tastes. I need some recommendations!

My personal favourite is One Night In Rio, which is a pineapple/coconut blend from Camellia Sinensis – might not quite be what you’re looking for since it’s not solely black tea/coconut but it IS delicious.

I’ll keep that in mind if nothing else comes up. I don’t think I’ve purchased from that company before.

Made a purchase. We’ll see. I just have a super craving for coconut tea right now and nothing is hitting the spot.

@Evol Ving Ness wants me to post: "I second Ms. Strange’s One Night in Rio. I quite happily added this to other fruit blends with great results.

I will add that almost any coconut blend from 52Teas is a winner."

I also wanted to mention 52Teas, but of course their coconut teas must depend on whatever is in stock (this might be 52Teas only negative — imagine if you could order ANY 52Teas blend at ANY time. Impossible for Anne to do that, but one can dream.)

Also, somehow I can’t think of any other coconut black teas currently in available for sale. I will think about it though…

LOL – I would love to be able to have every tea base but unfortunately that’s just not a possibility. Even if I did have the storage space for it – and the ability to blend and then sell so much tea that I could keep a fresh rotation of the tea – not all teas are available. Like tea-sipper said … one can dream. I do dream of being able to do that too!

Yeah, I realize it is not realistic at all, but all the teas available all the time would be AMAZING. If only you had oompa loompas and a factory….

Yes, a few oompa loompas and a factory would be wonderful! I don’t think I should blend all my teas by waterfall, it could mess up the tea. Maybe brew my teas by waterfall. :)
