water

I just moved to LA from London and my tea now all tastes weak and stale, using a new filter (zerowater). I then tried with tap water and it tasted good again – has anyone else experienced weak bad tea from filtered water? In my opinion filtered water on its own tastes very strong and artificial while tap water tastes neutral.
