When you realize that you don’t cook as much as you shoukd because teaware has taken over all the counter space…..
Mine is taking over the cabinets with wine glasses. When Hubby complains I just tell him we don’t drink.
When you smell flowers and wonder what tea you can blend wth them in a step;ing…
When you have your semi yearly migraine and take the pill with tea that is over 180f… only to find yourself with one hot mouth/throat.
(this is either laziness or tea addiction…)
You get a migraine, and we get a nonsensical zolmitriptan spammer! Coincidence??
When you dump out used coffee grinds and can only think about how much of a waste it was to brew them once.
when you hide tea in your lingerie drawer . . .
when your carry-on has undies, toothbrush, tea, tea filter and mug . .
when you have future tea purchases planned before you’ve paid for your current purchase
When you are a poor student and you have more tea than you are going to drink during a year (at 3-4 cups a day).
When you visit steepster and many tea stores everyday and despite the point 1, continue buying samples and buying cakes of the samples you like.
When you spend more than you planned to spend during the year according to your budget.
Or when you don’t make a budget because you know there is no chance you will stick to it.
I was embarrassed to admit this Allan, though I’m relieved to know I’m not alone! Save budgeting for non-essentials – shelter, transportation . . . LOL
When tea and teaware cost more than rent one month…
Eeep! I thought I was in trouble when Tea&Teaware cost more than my student loan repayment for the month.
But I live in an area where ~60-70% of income is usually towards rent/mortgage. Maybe it’s different where you live.
My GreatLakes student loan is suppose to be $480 a month… it’s painful.
Rent for everyone is different; mortgages payments vary and so does apartment (especially if you split it with another person/s)
Yes, student loans are painful, mine is split over a few loan servicers so it doesn’t look as painful on the bank statement but it’s daunting to think about..
Good of you to point out the variance on rent/mortgage costs. I forget that sometimes.
When your tea cupboard at home is overflowing so you take some to work to create a ‘tea drawer’ and then that somehow needs expanding too (good thing the drawer compartments are expandable)!
My drawer smells weird because of this.
this sound sooooo familiar :) . I even distribute my teas to colleagues and kind of force them to drink more teas.
You celebrate the first snow of the season with a mug of tea.
