Just a question, does Mandala offer tracking? Also, do they email when the package ships? Because if not, I may end up annoying my mailperson again.

Great order! Garret does use tracking and emails when your order ships. I have ordered from Mandala twice now, and both times the package got here fast.

Oh good. I was worried for a bit there. Waiting for a package without tracking is a dangerous prospect for me. I can’t wait to try them. I’ve become a bit pu’er obsessed lately.

I’ve had some non-tracking fiascos lately as well. I have a small etsy shop and I think I will have to charge more for shipping soon for the peace of mind.

Mandala really is a wonderful company, and Garret is a great guy. I recently got samples of the Gouyan 068 and Menghai Adorned in Red. Both are good, and the menghai is exceptionally smooth.

Claire, use the shipping labels via Etsy. They’re cheaper than the post office (I think it’s $1.69 for up to 3 oz compared to $2.12 at the post office) and automatically come with tracking. I could kick myself for not using it sooner. I just print them on regular paper and tape them to my envelopes because I’m not gonna add the expense of even more labels.and I’ve had no problems.

I really love tracking. It just reduces the Post Office stress so much but I can definitely see how it could get expensive.

I’ve been itching to order from Mandala for a while. I’m really excited about the Menghai. It sounds so good. I’m a bit nervous that I am going to store them wrong and destroy them in my rookie-ness.

Also, would you mind linking me to your etsy shop? I’m always looking for new teas :)

Momo, I think your etsy shop may just kill me. Perfume and lip balm are weaknesses of mines. I’m currently restraining myself from the Hot Buttered Rum and Champagne Marshmallow lip balms.

@Grace, the champagne marshmallow is my FAVORITE. I’m so sad it hasn’t sold further (yet, I hope) because it is my favorite of EVERYTHING and I use all of them.

@Claire I really didn’t even know it was there, it even makes it easier for int’l shipping. It’s more annoying to tape than just write an address but it’s soooo worth it. If it’s under 13 oz then you can just drop it in a box and you never have to go in the post office. I just wish it was more obvious because it took 4months into selling for me to realize it was there.

I have a love hate relationship with rooibos, but recently I found out that it’s a migraine trigger for me so I can’t really drink it anymore :( Ah well, guess I’ll have to try Butiki’s Plum Pudding instead!
