Got my SerendipiTea order all in now:
Morrocan Mint – 16oz Bag – $30.00
Gaucho – 4 oz Box – $10.00
All Spice Chai – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
ChocolaTea – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Chai Walla – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Cocoa Loco – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Faux Cocoa – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Cocoa Power – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Holiday Cheer! – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
Dahl House – .5 oz Sample Bag – $2.50
So half an ounce is how many grams? Yeah I should use google I know. :)
Cocoa Loco – that one calls to me for some reason. hummmm
OKay so almost 15 grams which means that their samples cost more than Uptons – still intrigued. :)
Azz, I just weighed 5 samples we got. I have a range of 37 -57 grams here. I would say they are very generous on their samples. They seem to just fill the little bag as full as they can get it.
That is good news!! :) Okay off to gander at their site now :) Dangit.
Buccaneer is awesome! I think these guys are really good for creamy teas with chocolate.
Whats that creamy and chocolate?!?! Uggggg still trying to convince hubby to go get chocolate cake at the store for me after posting in that dessert thread. Incoming puppy dog eyes … maybe I need to try another angle though hummmm
Okay back to that site …
And, while I don’t want to stop you from giving them a sale, let us know what you’re looking at before you click the button. We’ve got a healthy stock of their Buccaneer, Colonille, Once Upon a Tea, Gaucho and plenty of the Morrocan Mint, obviously. Plus, we’ve sampled quite a few others, and didn’t get a chance to post some of the reviews since it was during the last few weeks when Steepster has been a little less than accessible.
OH I would not be buying tonight anyway – payday around corner BUT we may be due for another trade soon!
Just ordered some goodies from Verdant Tea. Their Lavender Earl Green was sold out a few days ago, but I noticed today its in stock again!! WAHOOOOOOOOO!

ooooooooohhhhhhhh, i want a Puerh reserve tasting kit too, i saw it on the site sounds great :)
Yeah normally I don’t order tasting samples as I have had enough of the other types of tea to know what I like and although still learning I usually can tell by reviews and such what I will probably like. Pu-erh though still seems to elude me – I have had some I really love – some I don’t but I do not know enough about them at all so I figured this would be a great start!
I figure anything from Teavivre, Verdant, Shang or Samovar has to be excellent regardless. It was costly but I had to do it. Here it is not even payday yet and I have already spent more than I should on tea!!!
For the coming month I am working with Stacy at Butiki on a custom blend, and getting some teas from KeenTeaThyme that she is getting rid of then that has to be it. (yeah right huh?)
I know how that goes i usually end up spending more than i wanted to on teas myself it like an impulse or something for me, i dont think ive heard of Shang im looking at them now i may get one of their samplers lol
Tommy I promise you that you will love Shang! They are right up there with the others I listed. I love them! :)

Ok, so I REALLY do not need more tea as I have samples coming from Teavivre and I still haven’t reviewed all my Teaopia samples, but I just couldn’t help myself. Some teas from Butiki came on sale as a “Summer vacation” package, so I HAD to get them:
one ounce of Apricot Guayusa
half an ounce of Cantaloupe & Cream white tea
one ounce of Mango Lassi rooibos
one ounce of Pistachio Ice Cream green tea
This is not an order but I am going to DAVIDsTEA today to pick up 3 new teas:
Blueberry Jam
Salted Caramel
Brazillionnaire!
I can’t wait to receive these!! Butiki is a new company to me!
I am also really wanting to try the 52teas chocolate decadence but should hold off on that for awhile.
You are going to love Cantaloupe & Cream! Also – I need to go pick up Salted Caramel and Brazillionnaire, and actually try the sample of Blueberry Jam I bought!
Did you pay $15 for this? I see it on their website and I’m thinking of trying it.
Yep, this was the sampler for $15. It was a good purchase because I had never purchased from Butiki before.
Awesome! I wanted to make sure we were talking about the same things.
I’ve heard VERY good things about them. They are just a littlepricey. But I do plan to place an order soon. Most likely that sampler pack.
I just went into Teaopia today to stock up on some teas I have wanted to try & am worried about not gettting the chance too when they switch over.
Fireside S’mores tin $11 (got it for 50% off)
Creamy Nut Oolong 50g $8.57
Exotic Berries 50g $8.75

Mojito Raspberry Mint $19.09 (filled a Teaopia Tin)
Teaopia Tin
And a tea for my iced tea swap
I received 15% off because I purchase 450g
TOTAL $71.95
In the last few weeks I have spent $62 at DAVIDsTEA (online)
$45 at Teaopia (online)
and $30 at Tea & Bloom (a small local tea house )
I will be back at Teaopia to grab a few others & stock up on their peppermint (at least 2 tins of that)
Gosh darnit, 50% off s’mores?! Boooooo, I want that one but don’t want to drive out to the store!
I didn’t want such a large tin of it, but for half price who could resist?
wow, 50% off, that is awesome because it’s an awesome tea!
All the other teas sound good too! I really like the creamy nut oolong
They all sound QUITE yummy! Great deals too.

Anyone in the Midwest, how fast do you usually get your Verdant orders?
About three to four days depending on if you order before the weekend or not.
Not long though … glad you got that order in before they changed over. :)
I’m pretty happy too. I ordered on Friday so I’m really hoping I will get it before I leave this week on Tuesday.
Where are you at? Im in Topeka, Kansas – also ordered on Friday from Verdant – will let you know if I get a ship notice tomorrow – I am assuming we will Tuesday may be cutting it a tad close though unless you got your shipping notice on Friday.
North Dakota. I didn’t get my shipping notice Friday either, so yes it’s probably cutting it close. Siiigghh. I hate to be away thinking of unopened tea just sitting. So sad.
Any notice yet? Nothing on my end here.
Got shipping notice. Hope you get yours in time!
Got my notice too. I doubt it will be here tomorrow..oh well. I have something to look forward to when I get back!
Feel lucky! I have to wait weeks to get my Verdant orders haha. Living in Canada grumblegrumble
Im sorry Daisy :( that is no fun to have to wait so long.
It’s extra fun when it arrives at least :D
