I have a two-fold method.
A) I have tea all the time and have it all over the house.
B) Then I let them smell it.
They normally want some after that. :3

I don’t actively try to convert anyone. I always offer guests tea, however more often than not, they chose either coffee or some of the more well known bagged teas I have at home too. I find that some people are intimidated by the quantity of the varieties and flavors of loose leaf teas I have at home, and their lack of knowledge causes an inability to actually choose, so they go for bagged.

Sometimes someone will say, “Got anything with cinnamon” or “I love fruity teas” in which case I brew up some loose leaf of the right kind. It has come to be known among my friends that there is good tea to be had at my house, but the their enthusiasm never extends to buying some for themselves.

The exception is with 52teas coconut cream pie, which is heaven in a cup and instantly addictive. I made it once for a friend and have since had to order her a few more pouches.

I don’t do much really. I offer to make some when friends visit. Usually they accept. I try to make a flavor that I think will be a crowd pleaser. If they decline, I make what I want for myself and let them enjoy the aroma. :) If they show interest, I let them choose the tea.
I got a 4 year old to drink lemongrass green tea unsweetened and he loved it. At some point, I had to stop him from drinking the whole pot because his parent surely didn’t want him up all night. :D Start’em young!
’also, got the husband to like matcha lattes. One step at a time, my friends…

I just offer them tea when they are at my place. Something different everytime. I also buy them tea here or there. Mostly it’s all very subtle. I sneak up on them. I’m like a tea drinking ninja. Very…very sneaky.

I share tea with my friends all the time,i carry tea in my pockets and if i am at a friends they know i am going to make tea and they usualy dont have a problem drinking it, i tell them about the benefits of tea and why they should drink it, i have only turned on about 4 friends to actually start drinking tea regularly tho, My friends have no problem with drinking tea they already know that when they come visit Thomas that they will drink Tea. i have to also say that the smell of some of my teas is whats gets most to want to try some, so of course i always have them smell it first.

I do not have friends to invite to drink tea.

I would buy a nice box of tea, tea cup and saucer and have it all wrap and give them for any occasion and hopefully one day they would submit to having/or trying some tea.
