One or two big mugs – 15 oz or so – pretty much every day! I love tea :D

Well, let’s see. There is my morning cup of black tea with milk and sugar. On particularly long mornings, that gets bumped up to two cups. Then there is the afternoon oolong to get me through the last bit of the day, with a minimum of two steepings. Then a light evening green or white. So, I would say a minimum of two cups, max, about 6. Per day.

I usually drink one 16oz thermoses each morning and one 8oz mug each afternoon and another 8oz mug in the evening. During the weekends it’s more often than not, one 12oz mug in the morning and one in the evening before bed.

During the week usually use my press button gongfu cup at work with 1-2 tea/s per day. Depends on work volume. At the weekend in the tea shop usually drink tea all day (gaiwan/yixing). Probably 4-6 types depending on customers, sometimes much more. The days at home vary. Sometimes only 1 type of tea (gongfu style), sometimes none.

I drink tea in the morning, usually when I have to unload the dishwasher… I bribe myself to get chores done with the promise of tea. ;) I sometimes will have a cup after work, but I have to be careful with caffeine later in the day.

Your mention of a bribe makes me laugh. I too often promise myself treats to help motivate me to get through something I don’t particularly like doing; and sometimes that treat is Tea!
