I did October and November of 2009 so far
I did October and November 2009. Rooibos and Ceylon Sonata. I love this idea and try to support it when I can. Their stories are great. I wish more companies would embrace this idea of getting to know the tea farmers.
Ceylon Sonata in december :D
A note on Adagio, they have discontinued their rum!!! We should all email them and beg them to bring it back! They do have a new earl grey cream blend, earl grey moonlight. Just thought everyone making Adagio orders would want to know:)

I’ll pass on the rum flavor. The new Earl Grey Moonlight looks like a total rip of the Sagittarius blend. They should have given props to the person who created the whole Zodiac series of teas. Bad Adagio….no no.
You should email them and see what they say about that. Doesn’t really suprise me though.
I haven’t bought anything from any of the sponsored tea producers yet, although I’d like to. It’s always just seems to work out that I’m too broke/just got an order/don’t care for the tea featured.
Jillian, I agree- but since I normally buy sample sizes, Adagio’s isn’t too much of a stretch for me… of course I really shouldn’t have bought the other 3 teas I bought in addition to the dragonwell lol. I used banked cup points so I only paid $.75 for 4 samples and shipping.
I caved. It’s Ti Kuan Yin this month. It’s one of their most expensive samples @ $6, but what better time to try it when profits go to support tea farmers? It will be my 1st Ti Kuan Yin.
So far I’ve caved for Oct., Nov., Jan., and March.
Caved for April- Jasmine blooms! I’ll probably cave about 7 times through out the month. I have a few birthday friends this month and it’ll make a GREAT Mother’s Day present.
Caved for May as I’ve never had Oolong #18 or any other Jade Oolong.
Caved for July- Dancong Aria is the best unflavored flavored tea I’ve had. :)
I purchased the April Jasmine Blooms, which I attribute more to the steepster select offer than the roots campaign. Nothing against the roots campaign, I think that it’s a brilliant idea, I am just not a huge fan of Adagio teas. I’ve tried a few of their teas, I’ve liked most of what I tried alright, but, they aren’t the most spectacular teas I’ve tasted.
Although I do have a great love for Oolong tea, so I haven’t yet completely dismissed the May offering for the roots campaign.
I just ordered the smaller size of oolong #18. I haven’t tried it before but I love oolong and everyone’s ratings seem pretty decent so I’m excited! I love their roots campaign, such a great idea.
Does anyone know what’s up with this? Oolong #18 is still featured.
June’s tea and tea farmer is now posted. I will be caving on Tues upon my return from vacation cuz I don’t want it delivered when I’m gone.
Officially caved… w/ the new darjeeling, shincha, and blackberry.
