Buying Pu-erh - Transport/Weather Conditions Winter!
Ahoi~
I wasn’t sure how to name this type of thread the best possible way. But I was wondering about something. Soon we are planing a short day trip to Budapest. They got massively good tea shops there so I am definitely planing on buying stuff (especially Pu-erh). But I was wondering (because Pu is a living tea) how much impact the actual weather conditions could have on the stuff I am going to buy. I mean the Shops are heated for sure but outside we got nearly degrees around the zero mark (freezing mark).
In the worst case scenario it is going to rain massively as well which is quite to be expected. Sure those teas are packed well and also I will carry a bag around to put them in safety but it is inevitable to expose those teas to constant climate changes from warm to wet cold to warm to wet cold again until we are finely back home again.
I also thought about putting some bamboo coal inside the bag because for sucking up the wetness if that makes sense at all. What do you say – do I worry to much or is this short unstable constant temperature expose really a bit of a problem?
I mean I do not want to come home and after a couple of days I find mold on my cakes.
I am looking forward hearing your thoughts and thanks for your time :) ~ Cheers
