Tell me how your adventures with Persian tea works out. :D
Oh, I shall. Depending on its arrival, the blog may be up next week. ;-) And thanks again for your suggestions, too.
Tell me if you ever want to try a different brand. The one that I normally get is in an unassuming black bag that I cannot find any website associate to it. It’s heaven though….
This thread had me curious as I love spiced teas, so I looked around the international section of the grocery store I was shopping at yesterday (Fiesta Market for the TX folks) and found the Sadaf teas. I’m drinking the cardamom blend right now and it is pretty delicious. The cardamom is definitely there, but it’s not overpowering.
Yay! :) I get so excited when people start drinking Persian teas… It’s my favorite and I love spreading the love.
Sadaf does have the Turkish-grown Rize tea I’ve been looking for! And for cheap!
there are a variety of Persian stores in Westwood (part of L.A) They bring back tea from Iran (even though it is embargoed here in the US) . That seems the most likely place to find it.
Yeah, that seems to be the only way to get it. That’s how I landed mine. (Although I got it from Seattle.)
