Looking for a thick walled 150/200ml glass gaiwan
Im looking for a thick walled 150/200 ml glass gaiwan I can use for brewing my black tea. I prefer one without a spout with inside rim (much easier to clean with a paper towel). Any suggestions welcomed, Thanks

Glass gaiwans are typically thinner walled, since glass dissipates heat faster, and having thick walls is kind of contradictory to the nature of the material. Also, from what I read, glass gaiwans are typically said to be better for lighter teas (green, yellow, fresh whites), but I think that would become less important the more leaf you use. Although since it’s cheap they’re made a lot rougher, so it might not be perfect. I got one of these for my friend and it was really difficult to handle cause it didn’t really have a rim like the one pictured does.
I’m not even totally sure this is the same listing, I purchased around a year ago. Either way there’s a level of natural variation that’s to be expected
Any reason for preferring glass instead of say ceramic for this?
I have been using ceramic for my black tea, however both of them got a crack in the side, their very thin and I was thinking of a thicker material to use like clay or glass.
