Good decaf greens, whites, oolongs?
If you want try some Chinese tea, Black tea, green tea or Oolong will be good for you I think. I ever buy some Chinese tea from Best-tea.com, the good hand-painted tea amazed me. Maybe you should have a try.
I appreciated the responses, but both the original poster as well as I are looking for decaffeinated oolong, green, and white teas. I have plenty of caffeinated green, puerh, oolong, and black teas. I am looking for decaffeinated teas. The Crassicolumna is interesting because it so closely related to the sinensis and is processed similarly.
I’ve seen various decaffeinated green and white teas sold around stores in teabag form.
The best caffeine free alternative to green tea I’ve had is Laoshan Gan Zao Ye from Verdant. Like Crassicolumna, it’s made from a camellia sinensis related plant and processed similarly to their Laoshan green teas. I think they only produce small amount each spring because they are sold out soon after the new harvest comes.
LuckyMe: Thanks, I must say that I really dislike teabags these days. As for the Laoshan Gan Zao Ye, I’ll add it to my list of things to try. I noticed that Yunnan Sourcing has two Gan Zao Ye teas also. Have you tried them? https://yunnansourcing.com/products/imperial-grade-gan-zao-ye-wild-jujube-tea-from-laoshan-village?variant=46895868949
