It’s a shou, or cooked ripe puerh. It’s a cheaper version of a Phoenix style with buds on the front surface of the cake, and bigger leaves and sticks underneath. The good news is that if it is truly a 2008, it should be good to drink now as the fermentation flavor will have diminished somewhat.
