i drink dozens and dozens of “cups” per day. however my cups are normally 40-50 mL each. :-P
Depends on your definition of a cup? :P
6 or 8oz?
I would say 5-8 daily. That number triples when friends come together to get tea drunk though!
I believe 240ml (about 8oz) is generally considered to be one standard cup. Except in tea drinking circles where smaller cups are favoured, especially when the tea is prepared gong fu style. Using 240ml/8oz as a cup measure has the advantage that it is easy to calculate & measure 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 cups. I usually drink about one lire of tea in a day, occasionally a little less and sometimes up to 2 litres.
I see that you also asked about the purpose of drinking tea. I find the process of brewing tea aesthetically pleasing and teas to be tasty and mentally soothing.
About 3 a day. First when I get into work, second about mid morning, and third after lunch. Due to a sleep disorder, I try to avoid caffeine in the later portion of the day.
I drink about 5-8 cups that are 350-500 mL in size. I like to stay hydrated and tea tastes. I mostly drink tisanes like rooibos or herbal stuff. Sometimes I find decaf tea. A few times per week I might drink a caffeinated tea blend because so many delicious ones contain caffeine.
Anywhere from 3-5 cups a day. Usually mostly green. If I happen to get a puerh in there , I drink too much tea for day since I get lots of infusions from it.
I use an unusual size mug, but it comes out to at least a liter per day, sometimes more.
For me, drinking tea is to achieve a certain purpose because I want to stay healthy. However, I usually choose a cup of black tea in the morning to sober mind, after dinner to a cup of clean stomach. I do not without tea any day.Do you?
I should not drink tea after 6:00p.m., will get sleepless at midnight. In the daytime, just drink less than three cups.
I have a maximum of 4 cups (about 8 oz/cup) a day. I normally have tea in the morning and in the evening. I mostly drink green tea but lately, I’ve been drinking black tea.
