For raw puerh, yes. These are all quite gentle teas since I hate bitterness, but you won’t have a taste of ripe through this. However, for the price it’s a fantastic deal to taste different price range material; I’m not just being bias but realistic on the cost as balls/planets are not cheap plus there is more than 12 sessions here making it quite cost effective for an experience.

I would suggest getting ripe as well.

I probably will end up getting a ripe at some point. Do you have a suggestion that you think is good for beginners? For the few puerh’s that I’ve tasted, they had a similar profile but I didn’t get any notes of anything other than the base earthy flavor. I dunno if if it’s just because I’m new or what, but so far puerh has been a bit meh for me.

I can always send you a bunch of my stuff I have… Or get a few people to swap with you. But this would be a decent start to sheng in a small way. Sheng has a massive array of age, region, storage…

That sounds awesome! Unfortunately, I’m a bit low on cash due to the holiday season (and being in college), but I would love participate in a swap or something later. I actually ordered some puerh for Black Friday and it arrived recently so the next few weeks should be lots of fun with the Sheng Olympiad package coming in as well! :)

Just got my package today, just in time for Christmas! Thank you for offering this group buy, it’s an awesome way to dip my toes into puerh. It’s super nice to be able to get “sample” sizes of stuff since you usually have to buy cakes when going for puerh.
