Huang Mei Gui white tea from Song. Love the high penetrating herbal and floral notes of this tea. Like a soprano singing descant.
Golden Monkey First Pick (Red Blossom Tea Company).
Jing Gu Sun-Dried Silver Needles White Pu-erh Tea Cake from Yunnan Sourcing. He called it Pu-erh, but to me it’s a white tea, and it’s delicious. I’m glad I bought a tong of nine 100g cakes. He’s sold out in China, and almost is on his U.S. site, and this is one I wouldnt want to have missed out on. I’m going to take apart the cake I’m drinking now, and put the other eight away for a while to age.
Organic Golden Monkey (Red Blossom Tea Company).
Everyday high fired shuixan from Tealife HongKong… wow..tomorrow I need to do a full review.
Organic Black Gunpowder gongfu style from Char Teas. Gets sweeter with each infusion, very nice.
Shui xian from White 2. Nice creamy mid-bodied rock, I drank it for an entire day, the last steeps were so so nice – I love the way good wuyi, after giving up the initial punch, just hangs around for ever with subtle taste.
This is a delicious wuyi. I agree, there is no other tea with that staying power. I guess except puer!
Teavivre Tian Mu Yun Wu green tea. It’s sweet, grassy, and fresh tasting. This one flew under the radar but it’s the best green I’ve had from Teavivre all year.
Mandala’s Golden Needle Premium.
Taiwan GABA Oolong from What-Cha.
I dont know why these GABA teas get mixed reviews, every one I have tried has been like burnt honey with a glossy taste, and this is no exception. Delicious!
I use gongfu, maybe they suffer from overbrewing? Idk
