Pubertea Group Buy, Aged Puerh

Details in terms of cost, I had some time to go through all of this:

I will go ahead and use Etsy as the platform instead of Paypal due to cheaper shipping, automatically sent tracking information, multiple forms of payment taken, no need to know actually name versus Steepster name versus email used to pay with, and when taxes come around it is nice to have it all right there. With that being said, I am not making profit off of this.

Price per person = $60
Etsy/payment fees at 7% = $4.20
Etsy listing fee = $.20
Total per person = $64.40 + shipping (estimated as 8oz package, $4 to $6 to ship)

If any more than 20 people sign up, with a max of 25, I will take the additional funds and make sure everyone gets the best deal possible; as I said, I’m not making money off of this.

Each 357g cake will provide 17g samples if 20 people sign up and 14g if more than 20 sign up.

I understand that some might be put off by the way I am approaching this, but as I thought it through it seems to be the best approach. I plan to open up signups for a week and then close it off to see how much interest I received and then go from there with the estimated shipping date to everyone as somewhere between October 7th to October 14th.

If you see any issue here please let me know, I am working very hard on this and I may overlook something.

Can I put myself down for two spots. I’m sure I can find a couple of beengholes to send you.

When I post it, you can purchase two slots; it’ll even help us reach the additional cake :)

For those who trust me without having all the cakes info ready :)

https://www.etsy.com/listing/460789574/puberty-group-buy if you want to review my service after or http://www.liquidproustteas.com/listing/460789574/puberty-group-buy

I don’t plan to have all the cakes figured out for a week as I communicate with people, but for those who trust me this will help get the Sunsing order started + maybe the Naka going.

Been told that Wistaria prices are going up in September so I’m ordering this weekend. I’ll have the additional cakes for splitting, or cake depending on cost, posted here next week and discuss with those interested.

If 24 slots sell I will have two cakes from them for this group buy and of only 19 pay in it will be one from Wistaria. I’ll continue to update you all as stuff comes in, but I am keeping a few as a surprise :)
Looks like 85g at the lowest in total per person and close to 120g if I can get 24 slots paid in on; might even be able to make it to 150g+ with some private buys :)

8/24
Wistaria
2002 Ziyin You

2005 Tai He

2003 Yi Yi (Nannuo)

Going to run the math with shipping. If we reach 24 people I’ll include two in the group buy, if we only reach 19 I will end up putting in one and splitting the other two privately.

Sunsing order placed. Total at $154.95

From Wistaria:
Your proposed order so far:
Ziyin You Cake, 2002 195 USD
Tai He Cake, 2005 235 USD
Zi Yin Cake, 2003 Nannuo 180 USD
Shipping: 35 USD
Approx. Total incl. Shipping: 645 USD

Hoping to know early next week if two cakes will be split for everyone or just one and then split the other two privately.

If you decided to get a taihe from wisteria I suggest the 06 over the 05. It’s widely considered the better tea and it’s cheaper.

Also you can use the money difference to turn one of the other teas into either the 03 zipin or 03 qingteng which are in my experience with Wisteria teas to be their best

If you are looking at $65 per share instead of $100 I will probably participate. It would be nice to find some semi aged tea I really like.

Thanks Grill, I’ll adjust the 05 to 06 and look into other stuff. I really want that cake regardless of age though :)

Where’s the YS aged pu-erh..??? LOL xoxo

Sell me a 10+ year old Bang Dong cake :)

why that in particular?

Never seen it older than 2010 yet, it’d be a wonderful addition.

Bang Dong was not well known enough ten years ago for someone to label a tea Bang Dong… I just searched taobao for 2005 and 2006 and no results…

Darn. Well, if this fills up I might look at a full 2005 Gouyan since it would be a new thing for many.

Lao Ban Zhang was one of the first places where an actual village was specified on the wrapper, as opposed to just a general area (like Bu Lang, Nan Nuo, or Yi Wu).

Had at least four drop out since the initial interest, but another two who joined. Going to keep this up until this Friday and have the final weights for everyone. I’ll post on IG one of these days.

Currently 14 slots signed up for with one held and quite a few I’m waiting on hearing from. I’ll have the listed updated tonight after I pay Wistaria.
