Puerh Plus TTB - Finished

The box is back “home”. I hope to start it out again within a few weeks. I’ve finished my inventory and have the following info that was interesting to me, so I thought I would share.

We have a lot of turnover in the box, which is good. Of the 29 shengs that I sent out, 13 were finished off, to be replaced with 15 new shengs. Similar results for the shou: 14 of 30 finished off, with 8 new shou. This is very different from the PTTB-5, which had almost no action in the shou. As a result, I will be moving some shou from that box to this one.

Most important (for me) was that there was a lot of turnover in the non-puerh tea. When I started the box, I was afraid that most of the participants would be pretty much taking puerh and putting non-puerh in the box. I was therefore prepared to remove most of the non-puerh each cycle and replace it with puerh in order to keep the box going. This has not been necessary. Only 4 of the 10 outgoing non-puerh teas came back, and most of these had been sampled.

At any rate, I’m very happy with how the box has worked out so far and I hope it has worked well for everyone who tried it. Remember, it’s not too late to sign up for the next round.
