Flying internationally with tea

Just flew from Kunming —> HK with a backpack full of tea and two 500g bags of maocha. They looked in the bags with the maocha (not in the actual bags full of tea, but in the carrier bags they were in) and then passed it right along. YMMV…they’re definitely used to people flying with tea in China.

One thing to keep in mind.
The HR is under 20% on a plane.
