Thank you x1000 for doing this. Packaging and labeling everything exhausted me… but I did do it in two days. I forgot to make this list :(
Thanks :)

No, no, thank you! :)

Package arrived 20 minutes ago. Wow! what a lot of tea. I’m already enjoying my first cup. Thank you so much for the huge effort Liquid Proust!

Which one!?

2015 Go Ji Shan Ben Se Wu Anxi Oolong

If I put Anxi Oolong on the label, everyone should punch me :P

That’s a tian jian @ Dr Jim

Dr Jim said

You didn’t. My mistake. Please don’t punch me.

Whew. All is good :)
I look forward to these two tian jians! Will be my first ones ever

Me too…shou puerh is the only Hei Cha I’ve had, so I am excited to widen my dark/black fermented mind!

WOW! I am sitting here in complete amazement. My parcel arrived just as I was finishing lunch so I took it up to my office and as I was opening it, the pu stuffed mandarin rolled out. That reminded me of Christmas, when getting your stocking meant that a tangerine and some in shell walnuts would be in the toe (both luxury items in the 50s in our household). What an overwhelming treat this is!

Liquid Proust, I can only imagine how much effort, time and energy went into this. Thank you so much.

Brother and sister Steepsters-do NOT miss the next group buy organized by Liquid Proust! It will surely knock your tea cozies off!!

They can miss the next one, it’s a date group buy from James which will only have like 11 slots. The next big one though will be fun :)
Enjoy Christmas in April!

Received mine today! I’m still beginning to dig into my Aged Oolong group buy, so I’ve got plenty to keep me busy! Thanks again LP =D

Just wondering about the tea that is labeled “2012 Gai Ji Shan Wild Tian Jian – Yunnan Sourcing”. I am assuming this is the 2012 Gao Jia Shan Wild Tian Jian in a Bamboo Basket, correct? Also for brewing purposes I am wondering if this is a black, oolong, or puerh?

Oh perfect! I had no idea that Hei Cha was its own thing.. definitely will read into it, thanks for the link! What Hei Chas have you tried and what are your thoughts/impressions?

I’m really excited for these as I’ve never had anything of the sort.

Dark Matter has landed! :) Unfortunately I, like CWarren, am too stuffed up to really even smell any of these, so I’ll have to wait before trying them. But everything looks fantastic!

I’ve done two samples already this morning— and have now written my first ever steepster review! Have to disagree with Liquid Proust on his opinion on the Furyu Awa Bancha. :)

Keep writing on! First reviews get you started on logging tea.

We all agree to disagree! Enjoyed your review @CarterB.

Oh my god! This turned to be the best impulse buy ever :))
Thank you so much LP!
I’m about to start with some Iron Arhat.

I was thinking about hitting up the Iron Arhat first as well. So many choices!

elena-z said

You should! It’s a very solid yan cha, I actually lost track, but I think I had 7 or 8 steepings of it (5g in 100ml water), and I only used half of the leaves I got!

Next one up – Wild Guguli from Georgia! I grew up drinking a lot of Georgian tea of lesser quality, sometimes it was even called “dust of Georgian roads” :)
This one is different though, it doesn’t bring memories back. I have hard time placing it. Also, gong fu didn’t work for it at all, so I’m steeping it in my guywan for 2-3 minutes each steep.
Still very interesting one!

Just finished my Iron Arhat session. Very nice tea! Floral tinged and delicious.

I really enjoyed it and it stacks against the $20/oz oolongs quite well; great value

Got mine yesterday! I was floored that it arrived so quickly. So excited that I haven’t been able to figure out what to drink first. Oy! I’ve haven’t tried most of these tea types so my mind boggles. Learned so much from the Sheng Olympics, that I’m sure I’ll be blown away again.
