New Site for Teaware
I wish I had never seen this thread and yet… I’m SO glad too! I got a bunch of cute pieces for $40 and got the free shipping. I’m super excited!! Now the question is,… how long does it take for something to go from China to Canada?
I also broke my “no more teawares vow” over this website… for a couple little glass cups that match ones I already have (needed a couple more for serving larger sized groups), but the thing that really drew me was that iridescent tea cup. I have seen here and there the fancy iron glazed cups with the little silver fish or lotuses in them that change from black to rainbowy iridescent over time and have wanted one forever but not for the prices they go for. This seems a reasonable substitute for a fraction of the cost. I just hope it is comparably pretty. :3
I am just getting more into tea. Until now I have been steeping tea by the mug with a ball infuser. I got a teapot and teacup set for Christmas that is lovely and from David’s Tea but I wanted to start doing Gongfu style too so I got a Gaiwan/cup set and I got two tea pets (white praying buddha for meditative tea sessions and a ruyao tiger because so cuet) and a few more accessories to push myself to the $40 limit as I was only $6 off. I am super stoked to get my tea haul.
Why? Why? I hardly ever come to the discussion board and now I come and get hit in the gut by teaware lust! Why? Why?
Well I finally gave in…
Ordered three beautiful pairs of cups, the standard ruyao gaiwan and a tea pick! I was spared ordering a teapet because the little carp fish I liked is out of stock
After figuring out that my new apartment has a lot more kitchen cabinet space than my old one I finally broke down and ordered 2 gaiwans and five cups. One of the cups was the free cup I had a coupon code for.
I finally bit and ordered 4 items. Can’t beat free shipping at $40 for teaware. :)
Does anyone know the contact information for teaware.house? My order came in today but unfortunately the teapot I’d ordered has a broken handle— strangely enough the handle pieces were in the teapot!
e: Nevermind, I contacted him via the W2T page— the contact page for the Teaware site wasn’t up at time but should be soon, apparently.
@mrmopar I did, and sent in some photos. Paul quickly replied and told me that he’d get them to send me a replacement.
How did you contact him? I got the wrong tea towel and want to exchange but can’t seem to get a hold of anyone. I’ve tried through email, Reddit and Facebook.
Same here, one of my cups arrived broken. I sent an email and have not gotten a response.
I contacted them via their contact page. Took about 2 days to get a reply, but my cup purchase was refunded instantly. :)
