Williamson Tea Elephant Caddies
I am leaning towards a powerful hankering for some of the Williamson elephant caddies. But… they don’t offer free international shipping. The tins come out to be about $20 each USD. High for 20 sachets, but to me, it would be mainly for the tins.
I haven’t had this tea before so I can’t really say what kind of quality it is. I like their ethics as stated on their website. I have a couple of their caddies already but the tea I got in them didn’t look anything like what they are showing on their site. I suspect those caddies had lower quality tea sent to the US market for discount chains, possibly.
I am wondering if they might be willing to make a deal for free international shipping if a large enough order were placed. They are a pretty big company, I think, so it may not be possible but if there is interest, I’m willing to ask them. :)
I’ve seen those tea tins (filled with tea) at Winner’s. I love the tins but didn’t know if they were worth it just in case the tea might be crappy.
The tea bags I got when I bought locally was pretty awful. Fannings with essentially no flavor but the paper bags. The tea they are offering on their website looks different though and now I’m interested. I use the tea from the ones I bought in baths, so I’m still using it, just not to drink.
That’s $22 + free shipping for Prime peeps
It also has 40 tea bags which is double what you posted for their site.
If it’s for the tin, I’m sure there are better options to go about obtaining them.
I got the 40 bag ones when I purchased at TJ Maxx last Christmas. They were the paper circular bags and the tea was fannings. I think the 20 they are showing on their site are the pyramid sachets and the tea leaves look larger.
If I decide I want the tins only, I’ll probably keep an eye out at TJ Maxx again and Amazon. I am curious to try the tea from these, though, so I’ll see what comes up here and keep an eye out for the 20 bag tins here locally. :)
I have seen a few at mine. Also, if yours has that cute tea dedicated sections there seems to be about 60 different types of aluminum tins. I was quite impressed that all of them had the inner plastic covering that has to be peeled off to.
