Milk BEFORE or AFTER?

if im not mistaken, milk got around to being added to improve the flavor of tea dust or such…and something about how if you are taking tea for health reasons, milk would not be a good idea coz it detracts from nutrient absorption?

That’s right, the casein in milk binds to polyphenols preventing your body from absorbing the nutrients in tea. More on that here: http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA400223. It only applies to dairy though. So you could use soy or almond milk as an alternative.

That still won’t stop me from adding milk to matcha lattes though.
