Trying to Purchase a Yixing Teapot
Hello, everyone! I’m not sure if this has been asked before but I’ve been trying to find good quality and authentic handmade yixing teapots online. I’m not able to find any stores near me to buy from and am having a lot of trouble finding out whether a vendor is reputable or not. Seven Cups and Yunnan Sourcing have been recommended and seem trustworthy but can you recommend any others?
Another fine choice is Crimson Lotus Tea

I got my pot there recently and very happy. Many of friends here got pots from there too. Excellent quality
Yunnan Sourcing has three types of pots

I really like Jian Shui pots for shou/sheng. this clay is from Yunnan.
You can check other pots on YS us site

agree with boychick. i got two of mine off amazon. they are nice, but YS and CLT are good ones to check out.
Mandala Tea also has some great starter pots:

I have their “legendary green beauty” and it’s an awesome little pot.
IMO, Essence of Tea has great teapots…among the best I’ve seen. They’re handmade with certificates and all. They are sort of pricy, though.
Here is a beauty!

If only I could afford it… LOL
