We weren’t really looking to ‘fund-raise’ – our primary goal this time was to keep the pre-sales and the day-to-day sales on our website separate, otherwise we would have launched our presales right on the website – but it would be more efficient for us to have them separate. We just wanted a goal high enough so that we got the basic necessities covered – but not so high that we risked not reaching it or felt like we needed to constantly fundraise like we did before.

Thank you for your support!

So, it’s not a 100% tea kickstarter, although for some of the rewards, teas are involved. Their blends are made in-house and use wildcrafted Colorado herbs.

P.S. The syrups and bitters make for a great tea mocktail :P

This one isn’t 100% tea kickstarter either – but I’ve been looking into various tea infuser bottles lately and this one might just be a winner for me – I like that it has the dual lid design if for no other reason than it’s a lot easier to clean that way! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/776632619/hopfuse-portable-beer-and-tea-infuser-bottle?ref=nav_search

I found this one this evening: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/263126438/tstix-invention-changing-the-way-americans-drink-t?ref=nav_search

I don’t think this is all that innovative though, because this: http://www.serengetitea.com/tea.html

That $75,000 goal…

I find myself wondering what the tube is made of. Is it biodegradable? Is it going to add undesired flavors to the tea?

Also this one carried by Sobeys:

Yeah, I had a tea stick like that once. It wasn’t that remarkable. I’d take a regular teabag over those, even.

I backed this one, I thought it would be a fun poster to hang in my tea studio: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/haynes/coffee-and-tea-diagram-poster-series

I backed it too. Love those style posters :-)

M&K Tea Co. has started a kickstarter

30 days seems like a really short amount of time.

I backed it but I agree I think the time frame is too short for how much they are trying to raise.

I think they should have a pledge level between $20 and $50, that’s a big jump that is right in people’s sweet spot.

Zephyr select said

I agree. Most kickstarters sweet spot is that 30-40 range. Well since it looks like they probably won’t make it maybe they will try again and adjust some things :-)

An interesting concept, but too expensive for me

And it’s cold tea too. It might be tasty but would only be pulled out and used a few times a year.

Wouldn’t this cause the same problem that happens when someone pushes down on a french press?
Being that it releases bitterness into the water from pressing it out of the leaf?
