Gfz orb from W2t seems to be a popular one. Might have to look into that one as well.
Enjoying this topic. Thought I’d bump it up again and see if anyone had anything new to add on inexpensive puerh cakes to get tea drunk with. I’ve noticed a few of the suggestions are no longer available :(
too bad the GFZ orb is all gone….. :-(
I have found that teas by Yang Qing Hao have strong Cha Qi but I have not always gotten tea drunk on them.
Can you explain the difference?
By that I mean it has some effect on me but not a full on tea drunk. It is possible to feel something with qi that you would not describe as drunk just as a person who has had one beer may feel something but probably isn’t drunk.
another side note….
if one tea gets you tea drunk, the more you drink it the less tea drunk you will get.
(its the same with cannabis. if all you do is smoke one strain, you will get less and less high. but if you change up the strains, you keep your body guessing and therefore rewarded)
So i suggest changing up teas often.
So what you’re saying is, I have an excuse to acquire more teas eh?
BTTC 1990s Zhong Cha Raw Yiwu Old-Arbor just performed some minor psycho-surgery.
I recall Mandala’s Heart of the Old Tree getting me pretty good.
Yes! Also Mandala’s Autumn Song wrecked me emotionally too. I started crying…messy. But so good!
W2T Tuhao as Fuck got me super messed up over Christmas. My wife asked me if I was stoned. Good times.
I get tea drunk pretty often. This year one of my most tea drunk experiences was with W2T’s The treachery of Storytelling part 2. I went to the tasting in NYC and all 8 or 9 of us were completely tea drunk after 2015 & 2016 last thoughts, then paul whipped out Treachery and it brought us all to another planet.
Really though its hard to take others suggestions on what will get YOU tea drunk. Just like medicine everyone’s body will have slightly different reactions based on age, diet, weight/height, habits/lifestyle, sleep, frame of mind. A healthy body and mind will be more receptive to a teas energy in my own experience.
