Forgot to mention I think the Teavana matcha is made from gyokuro imperial
Honestly, the best matcha is simply good quality that is whisked in a bowl with a little sugar added. Choose a nice piece of fruit or something savory to go with it. Alternately something sweet and cut back the sugar in the matcha.
You don’t have to spend a fortune either, you can get a half pound of matcha for $60 American delivered straight from Japan.
If a matcha were truly good quality, you wouldn’t even think of adding sugar.
