The Most Expensive Group Buy (Pu'erh)
I thought the $6,000 Teavana purchase was hard to organize… this one makes it look easy.

So, who would like to donate part of their 401k so I can get this rolling :p
I’m so down! What if shipping was like 7.99?? This had better have free shipping damnit xD
It will be 10g each. There will be slots for 24 people.
250g between 25 people is $1164.04 per person. Since this is a very special order the shipping will add a bit more because I would like signatures on delivery with insurance.
I’m being serious… but at the same time I am not; I don’t even have a way to pay the $29,101 upfront nor would I :/
Allan… due to the kind of person I am: I actually followed your suggestion, though you were probably just joking.
I haven’t seen anything yet. If the cake is real, which it may be since the seller has many older pu’er cakes (but what do I know?), they will probably just laugh and move on.
I would not do this off EBay. Use a reputable dealer like white2tea for the high end stuff.
Everyone should know I’m joking… Same with that teavana group buy :p
Well, there was this time when I looked over at my friend as I was driving to ask if they were ready as I tugged my seat belt and they put theirs on pretty quick before I dropped from 5th gear to 2nd… other than that, I’m not sure if I am a serious guy.
Hehe, I know of a place selling a real 1950’s cake and it’s significantly over 100k
Edit: It’s 97,000
Well… I will go recruit a few sponders at a fancy yacht meeting to get that one rolling :p
