What Kind of Oolong is This?
So I just opened this thing of oolong tea I bought from a Chinese store in Japan… but, I’ve never seen leaf like this- help please!
does it look like this
I’ve got some kuding. It’s an herbal, that does look like it but can’t be it if that is indeed oolong tea. Also, kuding is not so green as your picture.
I decided to brew one out of curiosity: http://postimg.org/image/bik5z308l
I believe it’s a green kuding variant of some-sort because it might have oolong wrapped in there…
Definitely not Kuding. Check out a picture of Kuding on Ebay or Yunnan Sourcing, no wheres near that green.

Those are green, but it’s the only one I could find.
I wish Min Shan En had a website or information online :/
I bought a tin of their oolong that has the best aroma I’ve ever smelt, but I have no idea what it is (it’s not this tea though by the way)
I can send you some to try… I actually have a lot of weird tea right now like Chinese white snow buds
The kuding I bought from Yunnan Sourcing was not so green. I didn’t know kuding could be so green.
The one from Yunnan Sourcing looks different.

This one has one strand of dark something wrapped around by green leaf.
I’ve seen kuding before and it is normally dark.
It looks like the unicorn horn oolong that Tealux and Shanti Teas had. It was from Sri Lanka. http://ratetea.com/tea/shanti/blue-unicorn-oolong/2852/
