Tea Tumbler

Unfortunately, they all have a plastic component of some sort. Usually a rim under the lid. My two favorites are my Kendall and Kendall and my Aquaovo. I alternate between the two for my daily steeps. It sounds like you’ve seen my blog, they are there. The plastic is minimal with those, it’s just inside the lid. The Aquaovo top is metal and acrylic, the Kendall and Kendall is Bamboo. I may be reviewing the Miu 18.5 ounce, soon. That one is metal and glass, but still has the plastic inside. I have heard some complaints about the plastic. It is on sale on Amazon right now and they are always good to me about refunds and replacements. :) Maybe try the Miu and if that doesn’t work for you, return it for a Kendall or Aquaovo?

Amazon mediates. Sometimes, they provide a refund or exchange directly, I think those ate usually with the prime items (not that you have to have prime, those are just the items they cover directly, I believe). You can check the return policy, I haven’t had time return anything in YEARS. Ebay has a good return policy, too! They cover everything sold there. When I had to return my tum let from China, they said they would refund it if I didn’t get a refund from the seller within a week.

Thanks! Just wondering again, which ones do NOT have silicone gaskets around the lid? And which of the lids would be most simple to clean?

My two favorites are the Kendall and Kendall and the Aquaovo Therm-O. I think you should try one of those. :) The Kendall and Kendall has a basket, but the Aquaovo doesn’t, it just has the mesh filter. If you want zero debris in your tea, go with the Kendall and Kendall. I like the Aquaovo a little better, sometimes and alternate between the two depending on my mood for the day. :)

Nice job, I saw the Kendall and Kendall a while back on Amazon and liked it lot but like Zack, I’m also seeking a tumbler without any plastic. It’s almost like there’s no other way to make a tumbler leak-proof without some kind of plastic or rubber gasket in the lid. The one I use now also has a plastic inside the lid so I’m only using it to store brewed tea.

Sorry to hear about the Fuguang tumbler shattering on you. That’s pretty shoddy construction. I hope you were able to get a refund from the seller.

Luckyme, I was! I am actually sending back my Aquaovo, too. It leaked today, a couple times. So, I think I might try the MIU, I stead. Luckily, Amazon will let me return it. :)
