Crushed shipment of pearls
I think you should give them another chance. I don’t order from them because I drink very specific teas they don’t carry. But I heard that its good solid company with reasonable prices. I assume ( correct me if I’m wrong) you are started recently. It’s a good place to sample diff teas until you figure out your likes and dislikes . It’s just my 2c ;-)
Yeh, at first i was in love with tealux. They ship FAST, their prices are really good, and their SAMPLES tasted good… but the 7 oz of pearls i just received dont taste anything like the samples they sent. There is absolutely NO flavor in them. Im just pretty scared to toss away my extremely small tea budget on tasteless tea :(
One of the great things about Steepster is how generously people here will try out tea from a new tea company, at least once supporting a tea biz with an order. It is up to the tea company to keep our business after that with great teas and customer experience.
Fergy Teavivre just posted on Instagram that their pearls will be available this year. Hopefully soon as they must have sampled them and they passed muster.
cool hopefully it wont take too long. im out of good tea XD though, im still waiting on some samples i ordered before the new year from them X(
All,
TeaVivre has announced they are taking pre-orders for Black Pearls with availability mid month. :)
I just tried Teavivre and Safari wouldn’t complete a Paypal log-in, the error “too many redirects.” Either my IPad has issues or Teavivre is still having the same issues some of us had with them last year. Just be careful.
Cwyn, I completed a PayPal order today at TeaVivre with no problem albeit using Chrome on my laptop. Conchobar
Any pearl type tea that is crushed is not a pearl type tea anymore. The purpose of rolling a tea into a little ball is to keep the leaves from being exposed to the air and keeping the intense flavor inside – hence the difference between Jasmine Pearls and regular Jasmine tea. Also anything that is crushed will taste more intense and bitter than a full leaf. Any reputable tea company will #1 ship in a box and #2 replace any damaged order completely.
