I will Resurrect a post! …because when I googled, this was in the first page of search results.
Today, I tried many things to neutralize the scent of my tins.
And I think in the end, I’ve decided on a generic soap wash and then….
I put some cheap neutral tea in the tin. Just to soak up and replace the previous smell.
I legit cut a couple Red Rose tea bags open to use for the task.

That is a great idea, Schmiracles! For furniture, i was told to put in balled up newspaper and you could also drizzle it with vinegar for added deordorizing. I wonder it that would, too, on a small scale? I have a Kamjove infuser that somehow got funky and I am going to try your cheap tea trick now!
