Little Terri's Long Awaited Ultimate Sipdown Extravaganza!!!
The sipdown is a new idea to me. And I’m amazed by the varieties of tea you have. (And I thought I was doing well with my 6-7 samples and 2-3 tins…) Question though: are you drinking multiple infusions of the teas that you list?

It depends on the tea. Some teas don’t really warrant a second steeping, IMO, so I just give them a 4 minute steep. There are a lot of yummy blacks that I steep twice: 3min, & 5min. With oolongs I go for multiple steeps, & will often share them with somebody so that I can get through them without being waterlogged, LOL. Otherwise, I’ll just keep steeping that tea throughout the afternoon until it no longer appeals to me. A lot of the teas in my cupboard were received as trades with various tea friends, so the quantities are small, but I have a lot of them! I do drink a lot of tea on a daily basis, but during this sip down event (which I do about once a year) I’m especially focused on drinking up all the small samples & remnants of trades, etc. I’m hoping to get back down to a reasonable number of teas! :)

I have new teas from Sil, & a few tea clubs somewhere in the mail, but I’ve decided not to add them in until March 1st…to at least give myself the illusion of progress, LOL
i thought my orders would get me to 200 for sure… i guess if i keep things from the travelling tea box i’ll be there…
I realize my collection is tiny compared to a lot of people on here, but I share a house with 5 other people and have pretty limited tea storage space. So I’m aiming to get my collection down from 110 to 75 over the next month or so. We’ll see how realistic that is! ;)

I’m with you on that… struggling a little with the teabox at my place but hoping that next week will be a littler better as i’ve got a week off. Puerh will be the focus next week!
Time off always helps with finding time to drink tea. Pu’erh while you are off is a beautiful thing.
I don’t really have any samples left – struggling between cupboard imbalance – trying to drink old stuff – trying to drink some down to sipdown range – drinking what I want….
Oh well – drinking anything (and not buying) means that cupboard is trending down….

I don’t know if you saw my review of the Keemun, but when I read your writing on the package, I thought you meant the company had gone out of business. Leave it to me to misunderstand. It think I’m getting old ;)
