2015: How much will you spend on tea this year?

I’m loving this thread because I’m a tea-buying addict and it’s nice to know I’m not the only one. Just counting internet purchases I spent $252 in 2014 and so far $381 in 2015 and it’s only mid-July! That’s not counting the loose teas I’ve purchased at my local Fairway and Chinatown loose teas and cakes. These days, I’m hard pressed not to spend over $100 a month with all the available cakes, both raw and ripe, that catch my fancy.

Time to confess. I got way too excited by a number of special sales this month:
$35 Verdant Tea Oolong and Puerh
$288 (yes, I know) White-2-tea Puerh plus a whole pound of FREE TEA
It’s still way over the top.
$33 Teavivre restocking on Keemun

Year-to-date = $740 vs $600 budget, and I’m already thinking about Black Friday. This won’t end well. The good news is that I’m drinking some really fine tea!

August- $3 (local shop), $4 Teavivre order.

I won’t even speculate on how much I’ve spent. Lets just say that I have blown any imagined budget and then some. And we haven’t even got to Black Friday yet.

Do tea accessories count toward the total here? Because I pretty much just purchased the entire Davids Tea Fall collection and I am deeply ashamed.

Okay, I totally lost track! I’ve spent a lot! Teehee! ;) I really was curious to know how much I was spending…maybe I’ll go back through my payment activity and sum it up.
