Teas for Headaches
I think the best natural remedy I’ve found for tension headaches is arnica lotion. There’s a recipe here:

It works best if you have someone to massage it into the effected muscles, but just spreading it on them helps a lot too. My recipe is pretty similar to the second one, except I use lavender oil instead of rosemary.
My problem is a combo of sinus headaches and chronic migraines – I’ve pretty much had some degree of headache for 11 years. My neurologist wanted me to go off ALL caffeine (crazy woman…) and see if that helped me. I did it for a month and it didn’t help. The next recommendation was to avoid caffeine except when I have a headache, and then use it to help get rid of the pain. That’s where I mostly am now, avoiding most caffeine unless I have a headache or if I really, really want it (like drinking water at the movie theater is just not cool!).
I agree about the mint tea thing being helpful. Spearmint seems better for me than peppermint – I like the RoT Mint Fields for a mild, low caffeine spearmint/lemon combo. There’s something about the tea ritual itself that helps me, too. If you can stomach lavender in tea, it’s helpful. A peppery chai can help clear up my sinuses when that’s the problem, too.
As a side note, the one thing that’s helped me the most is acupuncture. It’s been a life changer for me. Pain stinks.
