Nope nope nope. Can’t get the thought of lightly minty, medicinal-tasting chamomile fruit punch out of my head. I mean, I’m drinking it but making a sour face.

During my Master’s year I drank Chamomile tea multiple times every day for several months. Those days are long gone :D

AJRimmer

That’s too bad you don’t like this one! I don’t notice a fruit flavor at all – just chamomile and mint, which I feel go nicely together. Differing tastes, I guess!

derk

Togo: so a PhD in theoretical physics is more chill than the Master’s?

AJRimmer: I’m guessing the hibiscus didn’t mix well with the chamomile on my tastebuds. It really did remind me of fruit punch. Glad you like it, though!

Togo

Oh definitely! The Master’s program I did was the most intense year of my life by far :D

Mastress Alita

That reminds me of how I like mint, and I like hibi, but I couldn’t stand the Bigelow Mint Medley that mixed mint with hibi. Something about those two flavors together on my palate just went “Nope.”

derk

Glad to hear it’s gotten easier for you, Togo :)

Mastress Alita: I thought of your Mint Medley comment while drinking this.

I really enjoy this herbal tea! It’s tasty hot or cold, and it doesn’t necessarily require any sweetening. I especially enjoy this tea over ice during the hot months of the year. Yes, I first tried this at Starbucks many moons ago.. but the Tazo brand itself is great for those beginning to dip their toes into the tea drinking world. The Passion herbal tea, the Earl Grey, and the Vanilla Bean Macaroon tea are my favorite from the Tazo line.

This is so good! The flavor is weak, so 2 bags is necessary. With a little milk and sweetener this is amazing. Perfect for a night time treat.

I’ve had a pitcher of this in my fridge to take to work this week. I like chamomile, but I definitely prefer it with other things mixed in, so this was perfect! I had to use four teabags when I usually only need three for a pitcher, but that’s my only complaint. The flavor kind of stays in your mouth. I added some sugar, so it tastes mostly sweet and a little minty. It’s mild, but very…thirst-quenching?

I bought a box of six pitcher packs of this for $1.50, so the value is pretty unbeatable. I always bring a hot and a cold tea with me to work. This has been my cold tea of choice lately. I add a decent amount of sugar to the pitcher, so the flavor ends up being a sweet and slightly sour berry and lemon mix. But there’s complexity to the flavor that I didn’t expect and which I don’t have the trained tastes to identify. It’s like licorice and a little of something else. Anyway, when I bought this, I was expecting nothing, but I have been won over!

Mastress Alita

I love the liquid concentrate of this stuff, which just gets mixed half-in-half with water or lemonade and you have instant iced tea. So good.

Inkling Advent Day 2 – I keep a box of this tea at work, and this was pretty excellent timing for this to show up since the box is almost empty! I enjoy this one warm with sweetener. The lemon flavor really is like a baked good. It’s not sour, just perfectly desserty. It’s a nice one to have around!

I have absolutely blazed through my two boxes of this. Sadly no stores near me carry the Tazo dessert flavors, so when I’m on vacation, I have to check the local Target! It’s so sweet and lemony. It really is exactly as advertised. I use two bags for my ~18 oz mug and add lots of sugar.

I’ve had a few boxes of this tea since Tazo brought out the blue-purple boxed dessert line, and I like it. I think it was actually the first of the line I tried, and it was amazing — until I tried the Lemon Loaf (which is my current favorite tea). If I see this in my pantry, I’m happy, but I’ve been reaching for it less in the last few months. I think it might just be that it isn’t as much a hot summer tea? It’s starting to get cold where I live, so the thought of this tea is feeling much better now~

I’ve been trying to brew this tea — every time I get it, I give it to my sister (who likes spicy dessert teas way more than I do). ….Finally opened a box before I had the chance to be nice. I like this tea. It’s good. I don’t have problems with it. I just had a cup today at work without milk and it’s good either way. One thing I like: it’s not sweetened in any way, but the flavors are strong enough that sweetness isn’t needed.

I’ll admit I’m sort of new to teas, but this wasn’t too bad. There isn’t much to go on; it’s not particularly bitter but it isn’t particularly flavorful either as it’s a blend of teas. It’s pretty good with half-and-half and a little sugar, but then so are most things. When I tasted it without anything in it I thought “yep, it’s tea.” Nothing special, but again not bad either. A little malty.

drank Green Ginger by Tazo

Green tea usually isn’t my favorite tea but I find I really enjoy this tea. On days when I’m not feeling my best or when I need some energy I usually make this tea. The ginger is strong enough to cut through my dulled tastebuds and fuzziness when I’m sick but not overpowering to where I can’t enjoy this tea on a regular day. The ginger gives me a sense of energy and revitalization.

Conference tea – bergamot flavor is pretty nice, but thete is no discernable tea flavor underneath. Better tea than the awake though.

MEH. This tea is not very flavorful at all… The Vanilla Bean Macaroon tea from this collection is amazing, and I expected this tea to be good as well. This tea has potential.. but there is just not enough flavor for me in this tea. I prefer darker teas, and this is definitely more of a lighter tea than what I usually drink… But, I wouldn’t bother drinking this again until I had two tea bags for one cup. Disappointing.

Tazo’s Wild Sweet Orange tea is delightfully sweet, tart and astringent. Whether hot or iced, it is one of my favorites.

I always try to keep a few boxes of bagged tea on hand for situations where brewing loose leaf tea isn’t practical and Tazo is one of the better brands I’ve found at my local grocery store. This particular blend smells AMAZING…just like I’m baking some kind of yummy butterscotch dessert! The flavor doesn’t live up to the aroma, but it does have a nice hint of sweetness as long as it isn’t overbrewed. That’s easy to do though, so I try to stick to shorter steep times and slightly cooler water when brewing this one.

A little milk improves this one, too.

I’ll have to try that!

This is my favorite tea right now! My only wish is that it was a little stronger, but that can easily be fixed by adding another teabag or using less water. This tea doesn’t require sweetening, and it tastes like a warm vanilla cookie. It feels indulgent, when its really a simple cup of tea. I love love love this flavor, and I will forever recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a sweeter, milder black tea.

This is a very smooth/light black tea with a noticeable floral flavor. It calls for a longer brew time and hot hot water, but it is worth the effort for the full flavor of this tea. Very tasty and aromatic.

Did I get a bad batch of this or something??? It tastes like burnt coffee to me. I have never gotten that from a tea before. I don’t even smell butterscotch. Ended up sending these bags to a lot of my penpals just to get rid of it. Sorry friends. O.O
